Public Involvement and Participation

Using information gained from educational materials and other sources, public participation in storm water quality activites can help in making pollution prevention an automatic way of life.

To further reinforce this, the Village has sponsored several rain barrel workshops in conjunction with the Lucas County Soil and Water Conservation District/Rain Garden Initiative and has worked with Partners for Clean Streams in hosting storm drain stenciling events.   Instructions on making your own rain barrel or rain garden can be found here.
